Sensei Jorge L Falcon was born in Havana Cuba in 1956, he graduated from the University of Havana Cuba in Economics and also has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He started Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu Martial Arts in 1970 when he was 14 years old until 1978, along with the current Shihan Juan Claudio Junco.
He immigrated to the United States about 41 years ago and continued training Martial Arts, Full Contact and Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu until 1993 when he made the transition to Shotokan Ryu.
In 2003-04, he created the Falcon International Karate Do Association FIKA, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to teaching and promoting the tradition and values ​​of Shotokan Karate Do and Sport Karate.
Sensei Falcon is the president and chief instructor of the Falcon International Karate Do Association and the promoter of the FIKA USA NY Open Karate Do Tournament, a successful event that for more than 10 years has been bringing together great national and international athletes from the Olympic sports area. .
He has taken seminars with important personalities of World Karate such as Isami Shiroma Sensei JKA, Mr. Cleveland Baxter Kyoshi Chairman of USA Karate Referre Committee, PKF and WKF member of Technical Committee, Kohama Sensei Shobukan Shotokan International, William Millerson Vice President WKF and PKF.
